Alprostadil is a white to off-white crystalline powder with a melting point between 110° and 116° C. Its solubility at 35° C is 8000 micrograms per 100 mL double distilled water.

FUNCTION

1 .Antiplatelet aggregation can inhibit platelet aggregation by inhibiting platelet release thromboxane A2 (TXA2), while reducing blood viscosity to improve red blood cell deformability and thereby alter hemorheology.

2 .Expansion of blood vessels, improve tissue oxygen supply PGE1 can inhibit the vascular sympathetic nerve endings release norepinephrine, vascular smooth muscle expansion.

3. Inhibition of inflammation
