Fluorouracil, also known as 5-fluorouracil, with the chemical formula of C4H3FN2O2, is a pyrimidine analogue and an antimetabolic drug, mainly used to treat tumors.
As 5-FU is the first antimetabolic drug synthesized according to a certain assumption and the most widely used antipyrimidine drug in clinical practice, it has a good effect on gastrointestinal cancer and other solid tumors, and plays an important role in the medical treatment of tumors. This product needs to be converted into 5-fluorodeoxyuridine nucleotide by enzyme to have anti-tumor activity. 5-FU inhibits DNA synthesis by inhibiting thymidine nucleotide synthetase.

Dosage
