Genipin is the geniposide channel β- The hydrolyzed product of glucosidase (Fig. 1 shows the structural formula of geniposide and geniposide) is an excellent natural biological crosslinking agent, which can be cross-linked with proteins, collagen, gelatin and chitosan to produce biological materials (Fig. 2 The molecular cross-linking mechanism of geniposide and chitin), such as artificial bones, wound dressing materials, etc., and its toxicity is far lower than that of glutaraldehyde and other commonly used chemical crosslinking agents. Dosage
