Toltrazuril is a coccidiostat similar in action to amprolium.

It is commonly formulated in combination with emodepside (Procox) for use as an oral suspension against intestinal roundworms and protozoa.It has proven efficacy against Eimeria spp and Cystoisospora spp.Although it has a wide range of antiparasitic efficacy, it does not appear effective against Hepatozoon canis, even when used with imidocarb dipropionate
Recommended dose rate is 10 - 30 mg/kg given orally.
