What is ketoconazole

ketoconazole, White crystalline powder; odorless, tasteless. This product is soluble in chloroform, dissolved in methanol, slightly soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in water.

Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal drug.

Function & Application of ketoconazole:

Ketoconazole can be used for the treatment of superficial and deep fungal diseases such as skin and nail file, vaginal candidiasis, gastrointestinal fungal infections, etc., as well as the whole body caused by Candida albicans, Coccidioides sp., Histoplasma sp. infection.
