Introduction Prilocaine hydrochloride is white crystalline powder, easily soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in chloroform, insoluble in ether. Prilocaine hydrochloride is an amide local anesthetic, suitable for epidural anesthesia, conduction anesthesia and infiltration anesthesia. The intensity and speed of local anesthesia are similar to lidocaine, but the action time is longer, the toxicity is lower than that of chemicalbook docaine, and the accumulation is also small due to fast metabolism.
