                    Menthyl Lactate, abbreviated as ML, also known as 2-hydroxypropionate-5-methyl-2-isopropylcyclohexyl), monyl lactate, menthyl lactate, (-)-menthol lactate, 2-hydroxyl 5-Methyl-2-isopropylcyclohexyl propionate, a mint derivative, is a cooling product. In the past, the formulators designed cooling products with only mint, and there was no other choice. However, mint is highly volatile and irritating, resulting in a strong and short cooling effect, which masks the odor of the essence due to its special mint flavor.
